    L’extrait de pissenlit est un ingrédient actif extrait de l’herbe entière séchée de pissenlit Taraxacum mongolicum Hand.-Mazz. De la famille des astéracées, Taraxacum borealisinense Kitag du pissenlit alcalin, ou plusieurs espèces du même genre. L’extrait de pissenlit a des effets antiviraux, anti-inflammatoires, antibactériens, immunitaires, antioxydants et radicaux libres, et a été utilisé dans les produits de soins de santé, les cosmétiques, les aliments et d’autres domaines.

    Interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) is a type of interferon, and its main biological activity is immunomodulation. Dandelion has an obvious inhibitory effect on gastric acid secretion in awake rats, and its 10 g-kg-1 inhibition rate of gastric enzyme secretion can reach 97.6%. In anesthetized rats with pH=4 hydrochloric acid-physiological saline gastric irrigation experiments, dandelion also significantly inhibited gastric acid secretion induced by histamine, pentagastrin, and carbamylcholine. In addition, dandelion solution is 72% effective in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori.

     

    Antioxidant

    The phenolic, polysaccharide and total flavonoid active constituents in dandelion extracts have antioxidant effects. The effects of four phenolic constituents from dandelion leaves and petals on the antioxidant properties of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) or hydroxyl radical donor (H2O2/Fe), a strong biological oxidant, on the oxidative antioxidant properties of human plasma proteins carbonylation and protein thiol oxidation have been investigated. The results showed that dandelion (0.5-50 μg-mL-1) inhibited H2O2 or H2O2/Fe-induced plasma lipid peroxidation.

     

    Yang et al. showed that dandelion polysaccharides scavenged -OH and -O2-, and there was a certain amount-effect relationship between the scavenging rate and the amount of polysaccharides used. Sui Hongyu et al. showed that total flavonoids have antioxidant effects. In addition, chlorogenic acid, an active component of dandelion, is a powerful antioxidant that can inhibit oxidative stress markers such as malondialdehyde and glutathione.
